FLOURISH GOLDEN BLISS SMOOTHIE

Eating less from a box and more from the earth is a sure-fire way to ensure that your body is nourished so you can flourish! Turmeric is a well-known Indian spice, it's main component, curcumin, is an anti-inflammatory and the antioxidant within may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.

Serves 2

Time to create: 5 minutes

Ingredients

·      2 Peeled Frozen Bananas

·      1 Cup Almond or Coconut Milk

·      ½ tsp Ground Turmeric

·      1/4 tsp of Ground Ginger

·      Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

·      1 Medjool date

·      A dash of vanilla paste

·      4 Ice Cubes


Method:

1.    Pop all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. You want a relatively thick consistency.

2.    Pour into a jar or glass, sprinkle with turmeric .

3.    Serve immediately and ENJOY!

Top Tip: Don’t let bananas go to waste - chop them up and place in the freezer. Great way to make thick and creamy smoothies!
